LinguaCare Associates, Inc. is a privately owned practice of speech-language and swallowing pathologists, founded in November 1990.  We are a multi-faceted company serving children and adults in various medical and academic settings. 

LinguaCare Associates, Inc. believes that all individuals have an equal opportunity to achieve their maximum potential in a workplace that supports and affirms their dignity while being held accountable for the same high standards of performance.  We employ speech pathologists who are among the most competent in the state of West Virginia with over 70 years of combined experience.  All of our SLPs hold a license from the WV Board of Examiners for Speech Pathologists and Audiologists and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.  Each speech pathologist is required to obtain 20 hours of "continuing education" every two years in areas that will enhance their clinical skills resulting in improved quality of services to our patients.  

LinguaCare Associates, Inc. is committed to serving in leadership roles within the state to further the profession.  We participate with both West Virginia University and Marshall University as well as various out of state schools to provide clinical supervision to graduate students.  We have served as adjunct faculty and associates, teaching graduate classes at Marshall University.  We are members of the West Virginia Speech-Language and Hearing Association and have representation on the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.  We are providers of continuing education courses here in West Virginia, securing nationally recognized speakers who present courses that are accredited by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association with participants coming from all over the United States.
